My husband recently had a stroke and one thing he doesn't have right now is control of bathroom functions. These underwear were much more padded than the hospital versions. The only flaw I see with them is there is NO padding on the sides, so if he rolls to his side, it just goes straight thru the undies, like any undies. I'd think some kind of channeling like on Kotex would be a good idea. I am stuffing a super tampax in the side to help take up urine at night. I have been prescribed a sleep aid, and as a result do not wake up (like I used to) when I need to go to the restroom. I have tried Depend for Men Maximum but found they leak, what is the sense of wearing them if they don't help the problem? My bed is still wet in the morning! (Posted on 2/27/12)

My elderly father uses these everyday due to some incontinence. However, for overnight use they don't work as well since they leak at times. The nice part is they go on and off just like a pair of underwear, and seem less like a diaper in style. Gives a little more dignity to those who need help with incontinence issues. I love these for day time wear. I can go anywhere with Depend without worry of others noticing. They rarely leak on me during the day. I have had them leak at night so I don't use them at night. They have no leg gathers which would most likely stop this from happening. When upright it's not really as big of an issue. I simply use them during the day, and use Maximum Protection by Depend or Tranquility ATN at night depending on what's cheaper. They all work pretty well, and are very comfortable. I actually prefer diapers now to underwear. I guess it's because underwear always leak. :)

I have tried several brands including store brands and I've found Depends are the best diapers for me. They have leaked on me, but only when I had not been able to go to the restroom for a good while. Other than that they have been very comfortable and trust-worthy. (Posted on 4/27/11)

WHY did this company change their good product to one that isn't worth a darn? I'm talking about the Super Plus that was change to Maximum. The first night my husband wore these the entire side of his bed was wet including clear through the mattress pads, etc. when he got up the next morning. He was devastated. I'm assuming they are cheapening their product in order to make more money. I'm afraid it will backfire on them as people are not going to buy a product that's no good.
