There is no size that fits me properly. According to the size chart, I am either at the top number for a large pull-ups (which I prefer) or the lowest number for the extra-large. The large bind at the leg. The extra large are too wide between the legs and are highly uncomfortable. I tried the tabbed adjustable underwear but they are NOT easy to put on, and the tabs end up in strange places, making them too tight or else put the protection in the wrong place. They are not comfortable at all. Someone who is buying them for someone else might not know this. It is a difficult subject to discuss, but products such as this must meet the needs of the wearer, not the daughter or other caretaker of the wearer. If I must wear Depends brand, I carry a small scissors, and snip some of the elastic on the legs to loosen them on the large size. It's a hit-or-miss solution, but it is better than nothing. I have tried several brands and keep returning to depends. They are good. Plus they make a diaper that can be changed without taking pants,socks and shoes off. The trick is to get my mother to use this product. She loves the pull up panties. You just can not do too much at once. I figured once she got used to the panties I would introduce her to the tabbed diaper which she could use during the day if she had to change panties. It would be so much easier to break away the panties at the side and slip a diaper in place instead of taking all things off and putting the panties on. I have tried all different brands of pull ups for my 85 year old mother. I can not find anything that works for her except depends. They fit better than anything else on the market. When they say small/ med they mean exactly what they say. They fit snuggly around her legs and they are not loose any where but will stretch to fit a larger person . She only weighs 100 pounds. And they hold so much more body fluids than anything else I have tried with her. Your best bet is Depends. they cost a little more but are worth the extra few penny's. (Posted on 6/2/10)
